Sail Date: May 2017
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

I cruised on Oasis of Seas in May 2017. The ship is huge and the inside is beautiful. I traveled with family and friends, in a party of seven. While the ship was huge and filled to capacity with over 6,000 guests, it never felt overly crowded. There was three people in my balcony room and while it was tight, we made it work. My stateroom attendant, Ms. Laverne was wonderful. The dining room staff was wonderful and always made us feel at home and welcome. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted. We visited ports in Haiti (Royal Caribbean private island) Jamaica and Mexico.

The negatives:

I brought the drink card (roughly $380.00) on the cruise but was charged for a souvenir cup in Labadee, Haiti. The island is owned by Royal Caribbean, so why nickel and dime me? In Jamaica the shore excursion was very poorly managed and it seemed as if everyone was trying to get you to BUY something or tip someone. Mexico was nice and the excursion had everything included except for the pictures with the dolphins that you were not allowed to take with your own camera. Three pictures for $75.00 is a little steep. The cruise takes pictures the entire cruise and then charges $20.00 for each picture. After all the money spend on the cruise, Royal Caribbean should give a better deal on the pictures. After 3 am, the ship pretty much shuts down.
