Sail Date: May 2017
Cabin: Junior Suite

9 night northbound from Vancouver, ship sailed 5/17/17.

For 30 yrs we wanted to cruise to Alaska. Wife is in a power wheelchair, so we reserved an accessible Jr. Suite. The room has been great! I could cruise the world in this stateroom.

The cruise line has been very accommodating and attentive to my wife's special medical needs. We were able to go on 3 shore excursions and walk around several of the ports we called upon.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Accessible for the power wheelchair!

Walk-in closet, very adequate bathroom, huge balcony with ramp.

Port Reviews

Vancouver

Canada Place was a disaster!

3 ships were in port and it was early in the season, but it took 3 hours to clear TSA and US customs before we could board the ship.

Icy Strait

This was among the highlights of the entire trip- less shopping and more authentic Alaska.

We ate fish and chips and toured the fish cannery.

Humpbacked whales were everywhere! The weather was good this day and this port of call was really something unique, perhaps because we were the only ship there.

Sitka

It was raining, so didn't get off the ship.

Haines

Do to weather we stayed on the ship.
