I can only extend my personal thoughts about each cruise I take. I have been on 26 cruises, 5 to Alaska and 4 on Holland.
Overall, the passengers averaged about 75 yrs old with a third Australian, a third Canadian and the rest Asians and Americans. There were only 4 kids on the ship.
FOOD The food was good, always hot and portions have been scaled back compared to previous cruises. The new 70 yr anniversary menu was minimal in choices and no great changes. Lido buffet serves you and they had a scaled back offering as well. They do set tables and bring drinks. Pizza was good but very slow service. Dining room breakfast was over an hour wait to get food after ordering. Waiters were slow but I think they have cut down on staff.
