I usually pick Royal Caribbean as they are one of the very few cruise lines that have "single friendly" pricing, e.g. 150% instead of other lines usual 200%. I also stay with RCI as the benefits they give frequent cruisers are vastly superior to other lines, especially access to their Concierge Lounge with complimentary drinks around the ship for 3 1/2 hours every night. No other line has similar amenities for frequent passengers with the exception of the "all inclusive" lines. RCI's prices are among the lowest also.; however their food - although improving over the past year or so - is NOT as good as other budget lines, e.g. Carnival, NCL

RCI has "standardized" their product across their fleet and there is little to distinguish one ship from another. I find that crew members on RCI are invariably friendly and accommodating so long as your request is withing their established guidelines. There are few "little extras" that some are alsways looking for.
