This is our second time on the Regal. The ship is classy and the dry dock of putting the middle staircase back in was awesome. The service & staff were wonderful. We were always greeted with smiles. The dining room food was a little disappointing as the food was much better on the last trip. For example, the windfall fettuccine used to come in a Parmesan bowl. Now it doesn't. Also, steak used to be a Princess favorite. Meaning it was available every night as an option. They've replaced it with chicken. Still, I like how Princess does it's anytime dining.

The entertainment was limited as this was a very port intense cruise. We did have issues getting off the ship in St Petersburg as we had booked an independent tour & Princess wanted all their tour people thru customs first. I thought there was going to be a riot.

This is the most diverse cruise we've ever taken & I thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many people from other cultures & backgrounds.

Port Reviews

Tallinn

A walking tour of old town was lovely. It is like going back in time. Wear good shoes as you walk on cobbled stones all day. Our guide really loves his town

Stockholm

We bought city bus tickets. If I had to do it over, I would do the hop on / hop off bus & get more for my money. The city bus was expensive.
