Excellent mid ship location on Deck 10.  Great sea day views and huge balcony.  Standard cabin inside.  Concierge benefits need to be asked for since often not in the cabin the first day.

This was part of a ship tour: Natural Wonders.  the Butterfly farm was amazing and an excellent opportunity to get close up with many unusual types of butterflies from around the world.  At the entrance there was a birdbath filled with salt and a dozen Banaquit birds were enjoying the salt.  The retail shop here had a water cooler and offered us cold sweet tea which was very welcome in the humid weather.

this was also  part of the same ship tour: Natural wonders.  We went past the mining camp ( no stop), and saw the sign for the California lighhouse (no stop or sighting). What they did take us to was this: Ayo Rock Formation -boulders adorned with 1500-year-old Indian rock paintings, and the collapsed Natural Bridge. We walked around the rocks a bit.  Beautiful scenery at the bridge, rock portion similar to US Western petroglyphs.

We weren't offered any water on this hot portion of the tour and my husband wanted to use the bathroom at the natural bridge site and was told it cost a dollar.  Tourist rip off at it's best

The 4 star rating is for Mambo Beach where we ended up going after wasting $15 for a taxi to Avila Hotel.  The hotel had confirmed via email that we could rent chairs there but when we arrived they had construction going on at the beach area but saw chairs and beautiful lagoon open.  The front desk refused us admission and just kept asking who told me we could come, did we have a copy of the email, etc.  They didn't offer us anything for our trouble and made it clear we weren't welcome there.  would NEVER go there again for the day or to stay based on the rude front desk people and other staff.  The only bright star at Avila was the friendly security guy helping us get a taxi and who suggested Mambo Beach.

Mambo Beach was an excellent choice.  Tropical fish near the beach water entrance didn't even need snorkel equipment to see Sargent Majors, Blue Tang, crabs, Wrasse and other small fish.  Frozen daiquiris served to our beach chairs, calm blue water for swimming and nice service made for a great beach day!

Curacao

Woodwind is highly touted for the special care they take but for me it was like "helicopter" parenting.  The first hour is spent going in slow circles no where near the snorkeling while the owner tells you all the rules and regulations.  You are served a drink of choice during this prep time.  You then have about 90 min in the water followed by slow trip back with nice lunch served.

My husband wisely did the expert group tour while I mistakenly chose the beginner.  He saw 3 turtles, I saw none because the owner was constantly checking on us, keeping us in the shallow reef (surprised no one  got cut by coral), worried about a couple with ill fitting leaky masks.  I should've known when I asked for a floatie board to hold on to and was denied and told by her that I needed a belt and a noodle.  I left the noodle and tried the belt which pulled my butt high up, dipping my head and feet down.   A snorkeling nightmare.  The owner finally got the blue board for me after seeing my frustration but then decided it was a good idea to attach my flippers onto the board and the now shed belt.  In addition instead of giving me my own board she made me share with a woman who kept pulling left into the coral shallows so I had to compensate for her.  The topper was the owner kept telling me to stop moving my legs as if swimming and tried to "tow" both of us with the board strap.  Once back on board she told me she thought I had been "nervous".  Geeze lady...I wonder why?

The fish sightings were unbelievable but this woman made me extremely nervous and uncomfortable.  I would love to snorkel Bonaire again but more independently as we have in Grand Cayman instead of a forced snorkel march with Woodwind.  Even the Sea Cow might be better or just a walk in snorkel from a beach

If you do chose Woodwind, the catamaran is small, offers no shade and if you stand there is nothing to brace yourself except flimsy rope along sides.  Be sure you have great balance and lots of sunscreen or wear one of their sunguards.

We've been before and enjoy walking.  If you haven't been to New Orleans and won't get there, Key West is a great substitute.  Miles of bars and seedy t-shirt shops with 4 letter words describing porn acts.  Some lovely places like Hemmingways house, Audubon house and the aquarium, butterfly tours.  Great shopping for fun inexpensive hats and other items.  Key West is better than Nassau but would prefer to visit a private island for beach time instead of here.

We booked this due cruise due to the ABC islands, an excellent 4 free perk deal (including Premium drinks) and a chance to cruise in early May instead of our early Spring cruises.The Ensemble Lounge appeared to also be a "victim" of the free drinks since pre-dinner relaxation was not possible with every seat including bar seats were taken, LOUD passengers, 2 staff members arguing at the bar due to order errors...
