Went with a Group of friend's and family. Entering the Summit you have your photos taken and then are smothered by a man wanting desperately to sell you an ALL you can eat lobster dinner. Making very clear it is all you can eat lobster when I asked, Can I truly have all I can eat lobster? It is just a $45 up charge. Not bad until you get to the dinning room and it turns out to be all you can eat crumpled lobster over pasta. I left. The Summit may have been up graded but not the rooms. Old stained bathroom tiles. (see my photos) Dated furnishings. Rusted balcony.Looked like a low budget hotel room. I read rave reviews on the food before selecting the Summit. (Who writes these review's? beware.... )The breakfast buffet food was mostly cold. The line for an egg was long because the Cook's (They are NOT Chef's) could not handle more than 2 eggs at a time in pans that left black specks on your eggs. Lunch buffet, this was deli meats and cheese, CANNED BEANS, I am not sure but something that looked like nacho filings. Always the same every day. Dinning was the worst because you are so hopeful for some good food. It never happens. an example of the great food...Shrimp scampi had no garlic. Several of us were served cold food throughout the 7 days.

Now for the Fun. The entertainment was fantastic. Never a dull moment and there were 14 of us to please. The comedians had you in tears, the singers and dancer could go on broadway.(I live in New York and see plenty of plays)From the costumes to the lighting, every show was top notch. The room staff could never do enough for you. Always there. The crew was fantastic and Our Captain was personable and pretty funny.

With that being said I think I will stay on land. The Summit was not for me and 9 out of the 14 of us agree.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 7

Cabin 07

The Balcony Rooms were outdated,Ours had old stained tile in the bathroom. A sink so old it was crackling. chipped furnishing. See my photos for proof. The beds are cots with one mattress. We had Two cabins that were for three people. Two cots and a fold out couch. We were told 3 beds. Who wants to sleep on a fold out couch for 7 nights at the rate we paid.
