Visiting the Norwegian Fjords was always on our bucket list and this cruise fit the timeframe we wanted to go and the ports we wanted to see. While the ship is older it is well maintained and very clean. The stateroom with a balcony had sufficient storage, comfortable bed and a nice couch. Staff overall were very friendly but I did have an issue with the shore excursion staff where there was a problem with a tour I booked, they switched my time from an PM tour to a AM tour. Even though I had a copy of the booking from their website, they insisted the time change was made fault, very rude. Entertainment was particularly poor. The Royal Caribbean singers did not sing well, especially the male leads who were overpowered by the female singers. The other options were just bland, magician, singing groups were just OK. The acrobatic couple were entertaining as was the juggling brothers. They had a number of issues in the Windjammer, their buffet dining venue. At least three separate times, they ran out of plates and silverware. People were waiting to eat and the poor person bringing out the utensils was almost attacked to get them. They also had an issue in not enough seating, especially on sea days. This happened early or late in their hours. If they kept the dining room open later, this might alleviate this issue. It sometimes took over 10 minutes to find a table and I saw people eating standing up. We had late seating and the waiter and assistant could not have been nicer or more attentive. The food overall was good in the main dining room and when there was an issue, they promptly corrected it. I find Royal Caribbean has cut down on enrichment programs. The options of things to do at sea days was very limited. This is our third Royal Caribbean cruise, on three different ships, and it is a ship I would not want to travel again.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Very nice cabin with a balcony that had enough room for four people if needed. Bed was very comfortable with a full size couch in the room. There was ample storage for two people. Bathroom was small with a shower in the corner with rounded doors, made it a little tight. There is a laundry clothes line in the shower, so if you need to rinse out a few things, bring a few clothes pins. The ship does not have a coin laundry. Cabin was midship and convenient to get around the ship.
