Our daughter and two of her friends were looking to book on NCL or MSC on those specific dates. We were considering going with them until daughter suggested otherwise. I had been wanting to cruise "upscale" in a suite and thought that The Yacht Club was well priced compared to other alternatives. It also allowed us to get together with our daughter when we both finished out cruises. They obviously chose NCL and had a wonderful time.

The Deluxe Yacht Club suite seemed only slightly larger than rooms with a veranda with the exception of a huge bathroom with a long deep tub similar to ones in deluxe European hotels. There was also a very nice walk-in closet and additional closed-in shelf storage providing mammoth amounts of storage. The balcony was tiny compared to any other balconies we have seen on other lines ships.

The Yacht Club Experience was wonderful and has spoiled us for cruising elsewhere. We filled out the paperwork online, and our Elite Status on Celebrity was converted to the top-level Black on MSC. There were few benefits not already provided in The Yacht Club, but we did receive two complimentary invitations to specialty restaurants and wife and I each received our chocolate ship models. I can't say that the specialty restaurants were better than LeMuse private Yacht Club Restaurant, but the steaks in The Steakhouse were excellent even if we felt that we were eating them in a diner. The dining experience in LeMuse was much more "upscale".
