This is a very worthwhile cruise to take for a broad brush visit to the major cities of Mediterranean countries. This cruise is port-intensive with 7 ports over 11 days so you'd be wise to choose the most attractive sites for shore trips and planning is key to suite your best interests, i.e. shopping, sceneries, cultural sites, churches, etc. Advanced research before trip helps knowing what to choose to suite your interests. You probably don't want to try to hit a lot of sites on excursion trips at ports but I think it is better to spend more time at fewer sites. Menu was a hit-and-miss, which could be improved upon but overall a decent selection. Excellent service staff is the norm, but there are a few individuals that clearly showed negative attitudes / unpleasant behavior toward the guests, by slamming a tray on tables in Horizon Court, showing facial expressions after taking orders, ignoring guests' requests, etc. Truely superb service is in the dining rooms. The folks organizing the port visit was not really familiar with the ports and appeared to be annoyed a couple times because we didn't sign up for the paid excursions and wanted to do our own things. We made PCL aware in our feedback. The Princess Theater was often full for the 8:15pm shows (I don't know its capacity) particularly on the "at sea" days, so you want to arrive early for a seat. We really enjoyed ourselves and felt pampered so Princess did accomplished what they set out to achieve!
Convenient location but carpet shows wear and curtains were a bit dusty.
