We wanted to just get away from it all. The 8-days on the sea as part of the transatlantic part of the cruise was awesome! We really enjoyed that part so much!! We also enjoyed the ports we visited.
Embarkation for us was easy! We were Aqua Class so we were able to board around 11AM and we made ourselves comfortable at the Martini Bar. This is where we met some really great people.
Disembarkation was another whole story. It is hard to get 3,000 people off the ship in an easy manner. The elevators were always packed and it was very difficult to catch an elevator.
We really enjoyed our room though. We were on deck 11 mid-ship. Our room was quiet and really enjoyable. Our cabin attendant, Baso, was awesome.
Our dining room, Blu, was amazing! We loved all of the meals we had in the restaurant. Our dining room servers were so very attentive.
We enjoyed the Martini Bar every night when they opened at 4:00 PM. It was a great opportunity to reconnect with people to see how their day went and what they did.
Our cabin was nice and always well-maintained by our attendant. The closet for us was fine, but it would be nice to have a few extra drawers to put things in. The drawers that we had were deep which is just not all that practical. Overall, everything worked fine. We enjoyed our balcony and sat out many of the days we had at sea.
