Sail Date: May 2017
Cabin: Family Ocean View Stateroom

Average cruise that was rather expensive for 24 hours in Bermuda. The embarkation process was horrible. The ship had come out of dry dock and although was very clean on the outside, was not so clean inside. The stateroom was not setup according to a prior request. Also, the balcony was dirty. The crew was boarding and cleaning the ship as the passengers were boarding. The cruise would have been enhanced by having two full days in Bermuda. The cruise felt rushed, because it left three plus hours late. We had to make up time, so it was a rough sail for sea sick passengers. Since the majority of the cruise is spent at sea, the programs, shopping and food service should have been exceptional--but they weren't. It's convenient to cruise out of Baltimore, but maybe not on Grandeur of the Seas. If other ships are available, it might be more cost effective and enjoyable to cruise on another cruise line.
