We chose this cruise because of the Free amenities, plus the fact that it departed from Tampa, where we live. This local departure saved us the additional airfare to get to the Departure Port.

NCL offered Free gratuities + four meals per person in Specialty Restaurants. (NCL no longer offers the 'Free Gratuities" amenity).

The food and entertainment on this cruise were just outstanding, but the Jade is an older ship and we were forced to deal with at least THREE incidences of Maintenance issues. (the bathroom sink had no pressure, the a/c unit was stuck on 'High Cool' setting, and the toilet did not flush sometimes)....All these problems were properly dealt with when we called Guest Relations, but they caused extra and unnecessary stress when we had booked the cruise to escape some of the stress at home.
