Our family travels at least once annually as a group. Together we have taken MANY cruises, this was our first and last experience with Norwegian unless they take action to compensate us for our terrible experience. Embarkation was Horrible, staff was extremely rude, consequently confused our bank accounts and room cards, our cards were unusable for onboard purchases at times, resulted in my bank account becoming frozen, caused undo conflict in regards to additional purchases during and after cruise until I was able to go to my bank and correct. Luggage was not delivered timely, toilets did not flush the majority of our vacation, Many of the restaurant staff were rude and inattentive, it took us 2 hours to get our food one evening only to receive food that was not made to order. The cruise itself was very limited due to the account issues created by the original embarkation process, the onboard activities were closed more than they were open. And then there is debarkation. We should have been off of the ship by 9:30, instead we were locked in an elevator for at least 1 hour and waited in line for more than 5 hours, with a disabled child and no way to even go to the restroom. not getting off of the boat until 1:30, our return flight was scheduled for 2:25. Needless to say we missed our flight and had to arrange for a new flight (5 hours and several hundreds of dollars later) we were able to catch a new flight home. This was a terrible experience overall, Bermuda was beautiful but Norwegian was poorly represented throughout our vacation. We have all cruised many times, myself more than a dozen, previously with Carnival Cruise Lines. I was told that Norwegian is Superior to Carnival, We would definitely not agree. This cruise was twice the cost and not even half the experience and enjoyment that we have had in our previous cruises.
