Sail Date: May 2017
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Sailing on one of the BIG ships was on my bucket list. I sailed on the Allure and it did not disappoint. I'm amazed at RCI efficiency in handling so many passengers so well from port check-in, to 7 days of cruising, to disembarkation.

We had an outside balcony on deck 9 room 696. This is close to mid ship, quiet and not to far from the elevators. One flight of stairs from Central Park.

My wife and I are late 50's early 60's and during the days at sea we spent most of our time relaxing in the adult area. It's all well laid out and very relaxing. We opted for the 5 day premium restaurant package and it was well worth it. Our favorite restaurants were Giovanni's and 150 Central. The staff at these restaurants catered to us, interacted with us and made us feel like VIP's and BTW the food was awesome.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D8

The cabin is a bit on the small size but well laid out. The bathroom was slightly bigger than previous cruises I've been on (Carnival & Princess). The balcony was small but adequate.

The cabin decorum is modern and nice.
