Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas is a beautiful, well-maintained ship. It's a large vessel and contains a spacious promenade, huge theater, a separate ice rink / theater, giant water slide, Flow - rider and rock-climbing wall plus many other features and amenities. While this is a "mega ocean liner", it's still quite manageable to navigate. Service was excellent as expected on Royal Caribbean. Food, particularly at specialty restaurants Giovanni's and Chops, as well as at the Windjammer, was varied, bountiful and delicious. At dinner, we inquired about some ethnic food and for the remainder of the cruise the staff served us different dishes family style for the entire table to share and enjoy. We found the cruise director and staff to be friendly and fun. Ports-of-call were top-notch, as we visited the A B C islands (Aruba - Bonaire - Curacao) plus St. Maarten. Nice shows and of course tons of activities to attend and participate in while on-board / at sea. Look forward to our next Southern Caribbean itinerary!

Port Reviews

Curacao

Beautiful port city of Willemstad - lots of shopping and colorful buildings.

St. Maarten

Exhilarating ride in a two-person watercraft, snorkeling at mid-point of excursion at an excellent area on the French side.

Bonaire

Tour of island in a two-person electric vehicle, following by time at a beach. One of the best tours we've ever done.
