  3. Norwegian Escape
We went on a cruise of the Caribbean and it was wonderful. Our ship was the Norwegian Escape. Huge and lots of things to do. This was our 1st cruise and we weren't sure how it would be compared to All Inclusive Resorts and it was a great trip, lots of fun, lots of laughs and entertainment. The ship had things for the whole family to do. The Entertainment Staff (Evan) and Cruise Director Andre went above and beyond to keep everyone laughing and having a good time. Food was really good. Loved that you can eat at the time you want instead of having assigned eating times for the week. Many different restaurants to keep the food a nice variety for the week. We did the drink package and that was well worth it. Drinks were good no matter what we ordered. We generally change it up with our drinks while on vacation. Cabin was large enough for the 4 of us. We had not issues with storage or space to move around. We did have a balcony room and it was well worth it. We slept with the door cracked at night and it was so peaceful listening to the ocean. We slept so good! The transition on and off the ship was very smooth and they gave you lots of information to direct you what to do, helpful if it's your 1st cruise like it was for us. They had kids clubs, this would be the only down fall in our opinion with the fact that the age limits are so strict that our two girls would have been split up the whole time. We wanted to even have our older (14 years old) daughter go with our younger (12 years old) daughter to her club level and they do not allow it. Beyond the clubs they have a lot for the kids to do, mini gold, ropes course, arcade, so we just had check in times with the girls when they went off without us. We went during Spring Break so at times it felt crowded however anywhere you go during a holiday time like that will be busy!

Wonderful time had by the whole family

  • Nassau
Fun island. People in the shopping area are a bit more aggressive. Beach and water is the most beautiful beach I have seen. The water was soooo blue! Lots to walk around and see.

We didn't know what to expect and it was a great tour. He took us to many different points to get pictures and learn about the history of the island. He was very thoughtful and helpful with taking family pictures. He kept telling all the people in the tour that they were on vacation (if we were trying to help each other out by taking pictures for each other) and he would take the pictures for all of us. He was making sure we were comfortable. His price was outstanding!!!! He took us to the Banana Daiquiri also. You can do some shopping there along with a banana daiquiri. We also went to the beach for a short stop. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour. He dropped us back off right by the cruise ship port. We found him right when we got off the taxi that took us to the shopping area. 340-690-5215 or yellofevah@yahoo.com

My favorite island of the 3. So pretty, people are super friendly, colorful and clean. We wandered around the downtown shopping area for a few hours.
