We had already done the British aisles with Celebrity the year before, but since we enjoyed it so much and saw the itinerary offered by Caribbean Princess, we decided we would enjoy the extra ports offered in Scotland. The weather was brilliant and the trip was more than we could have hoped for. We were lukewarm on the idea of Princess, but I must say we were pleasantly surprised as the staff, service, dining all exceeded our expectations.

One observation would be the total lack of sanitizing stations, or staff reminding passengers to use them. We saw none of it during our 12 days and had to wonder if the 2 sink washing stations at the entry of the buffet was the new norm. The ship is far to large to think this will suffice since most people walk right by without washing.

Sadly the winds were not cooperating the day we tried to dock at the port of Kirkwall, in the Orkneys and we were unable to call....disappointing but understandable.
