Previous experience aboard Silversea Silver Spirit was a favorable one and induced me to book again albeit on the the Silver Cloud this time: An experience to forget. Misrepresentation about the ship's condition and refurbishing, No air conditioning when needed, took 5 days to repair,we were supplied with a portable fan to alleviate heat in cabin, sewer smell in cabin for 2 days, brown water in bathroom, stained carpeting throughout, moldy smell in public areas . The food offerings in La Terraza restaurant , menu pretentious and poorly executed, fruit flies infestation .
Water damages visible at Le Champagne ($40 extra per ) restaurant also pretentious menu.
Walking by cabins could see crew busy suctioning water flooding .
The choice of excursions at ports of call, to be purchased was good but pricey.
The entertainment was okay.
The food service crew did an excellent job overall.
Guest relations on board acknowledged shortcomings and just paid lip service.
Guest relations Director Silversea Florida Home office not responsive.
