We went for the sites not the cruise so it really didn't matter about the cruise. It was a floating hotel, place to eat and transportation. The ship was clean, the service was average. The specialty dining was very good, We tried three of them, Teppanyaki, Cagney Steakhouse and Moderno, the brazilian steakhouse. The buffet and dining rooms the service was good bu the food was average. We saw one show, Burn the Floor, it was very good. We booked our shore excursions thru italytours.com instead of the ship and they were very good. The internet service wasn't cheap and it was sketchy at times. The photographers weren't pushy, which was a nice change. I would sail with Norwegian again if the ports were of interest. We used BarcelonaDay tours before and after the cruise. Those excursions were exceptional as well and we used Viator for La Sagrada Familia. Our guide Christina was very knowledgeable.
Accademia to see Michaelangelo's David was the highlight. Beatrice was an excellent guide for our walking tour of Florence. Pisa was a marvel.
Small Town . You can see all of sights of Canne on your own, Wished now we would have taken the train to Nice.
Beautiful little port town. We paid for the shuttle to town(good choice) . Went to the pearl shop.
