I've done a few TransAtlantic crossing with RC and other lines. Over the last ten years standards seem to have dropped. Cabin was fine if dated. TV system was old and outdated compared with what is available now almost everywhere They stopped calling before delivery of breakfast to the room so the first you knew was a knock on the door, not a great way to wake up. I asked for a call and got it. Dining was disappointing, the food mediocre and service not great. One example - the cheese in breacrumbs was not crisp and the cheese cold and hard. Sent it back and it never arrived again, they had forgotten me! In the end we used the Windjammer Entertainment was fine, shows were great and the juggler a classic! But put French and Mime in one sentence and sorry I'm swimming for shore Activities: The main Compass activities list was nothing but auctions, special "bargain"offers, close out watch and jewellery sales, $5.00 T shirt offers etc., etc., etc. Bad weather affected the outdoor program but it is The Atlantic Ocean in April. The karaoke competition was won, not for the standard of the singer but because he made a spectacle of himself and involved a number of his "friend" as dancing "girls". The guy that came second was a "dead ringer" for Tom Jones and should have walked it. As to meeting, most genders were catered for except The Heterosexuals. - This service is becoming the Sitges ferry Ports were all really nice except Ibiza - very grubby. We still enjoyed our trip, it's the best way to cross the Atlantic, very relaxing. Not sure bout RC though, they seem to be losing their way as they get bigger
