Chose this cruise because it was western Caribbean, which we prefer over eastern. Carnival is always a terrific value and we were not disappointed at all. Food was fine, cabin steward Bodi was a treat. Met nice folks at dinner in the MDR. We like the layout of the splenfor, esp. Because they have a serenity deck, AND the smoking policy is enforced. So many ships tend to look the other way. All areas well maintained. Entertainment was adequate but we don't focus on that anyway. Wish they had guys burgers on this ship, not yet, just a regular grill. Lots of outdoor eating spaces. Plenty of room for everyone. 1 thing I didn't like or know, you had to pay extra for access to the pool that is in the spa. Come on. We use the gym a lot and it would have been nice to use the pool after. But overall, fine

Unsure of the exact category. Overall cabin was big enough, plenty of the usual storage areas. Being so close to the front of the ship though, sometimes the sounds of waves crashing against the ship, we're incredible. Like, the cabin SHOOK.
