Sail Date: May 2017

I wanted to visit Cologne and Strasbourg especially, and all other ports of call looked very interesting - especially Heidelberg. The guides were all to a high standard. I enjoyed the wine tasting excursion very much and felt that I had learned something about wine.

Our cruise director Michael, was extremely efficient. His attention to detail was very good and he ensured that all excursions from the ship went smoothly.

The food was to a very high standard with plenty of choice and the staff in the restaurant were impeccable, they were trained to a very high standard and yet were always very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble all the way through the cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin stateroom

The cabin was far above expectations - as we had booked quite late, the choice of cabins was restricted, and although we didn't have the best view, we could watch the progress of the ship down the river Rhine via the bow camera - of course, through the more picturesque parts, we could sit in the comfort of the lounge.
