Cabin: Deluxe Veranda 2A

The Eclipse is a beautiful ship. There was a very noticeable engine vibration on all decks aft which was especially bothersome while dining. Veranda stateroom on deck 7 was clean and comfortable. Cabin steward was very helpful. The food in MDR was very good. First time in a long time that I ordered a medium rare steak and it was actually medium rare. They could use a thicker cut of steak in the MDR. Service in dining room was very good too. Another negative worth mentioning was that they changed the times of the production shows to 8:30 and 10:30 due to late departure from 2 of 5 ports. This was an inconvenience for me since I had late dining. While the service we received on the ship was very good the amount of servers in bars and lounges was noticeable low. This resulted in people crowding the bar to order. The ports visited in Norway were spectacular! We had gorgeous weather that afforded breathtaking views as we sailed the fjords. Celebrity has also cut back on the variety of wines available in the premium drink package which was disappointing. I know RCL is working to manage expenses but the cuts are beginning to show.

Deluxe Veranda 2A

Cabin 2A

Nice location to stairs and elevators. Was very quite. Veranda was a little less windy given the balcony next to it sticks out a little. Still was relatively private.
