This was our second cruise on the Breakaway. We did the same cruise to Bermuda last year on this ship and enjoyed it very much, so we thought we would try this cruise again.

We are a couple in our sixties, who have cruised 14 times mostly going with Princess and Holland America. We have also sailed with Celebrity and Carnival. We are very fussy regarding food and cleanliness. This ship had the best food we have ever had on a cruise. Amazing selection and quality. Plus the buffet and dining room were very clean. We were on a Princess cruise over Christmas and almost every plate and cup we picked up in the buffet was dirty. On the Breakaway the plates and cups were spotless. The staff are friendly and give excellent service. If this is an indication of what we can expect on other Norwegian ships we will be cruising with them again.

We did not take in the two shows "Burn the Floor" and "Rock of Ages' as we had seen them before. There were many activities in the evening but most of them started around 11 p.m. and that is too late for us. What we did miss was an every night show that other cruise lines have in the theater. For us we felt the entertainment was not as good as we have had on other cruise lines.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BB

This was a nice cabin. The balcony is smaller than on the older ships. Our room steward was very friendly and kept the cabin very clean.
