This was my first experience with Royal Caribbean. The ship is older and in need of some improvements/updating in the cabins and common areas. But, that did not affect our cruise. My husband and I had a great time. There were a few instances of rude bartenders. But, for the most part the service was excellent, especially in relation to my special dietary needs. The waiters and chefs went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and well fed (although the gf pizza should be avoided). The entertainment was good. The movies offered on board were fairly new releases. The activities offered were ok. There could have been more trivia games and cheaper bingo (I'm not about to pay those prices). But, for the most part, we kept ourselves entertained. We stopped in St. Maarten, Bonaire, Aruba, and Curacao; but did private excursions in all of the ports. So, I cannot rate the excursions offered by the ship. Overall, I would recommend this ship and itinerary for others.
