Sail Date: Apr 2017
Cabin: Concierge Class 3

This was our third Transatlantic cruise on Celebrity. It was different this time. We had a Concierge class cabin, and the only difference between our cabin and my sister's (who had a regular balcony room) was we could get Canape's each afternoon. There was supposed to be upgraded shampoo, etc., and we both had the same type. The extra money we paid, wasn't really worth it.

Everything is for sale. One afternoon's events as we sailed to Portugal from 12:30-5:30 there were 14 things that you could do, at no extra charge, and 21 things to do that cost extra, i.e., art auctions, spa specials, etc. It seems quite uneven. Seems like a lot to do when you look at the evening newsletter, but there really wasn't much going on.

The food seems to have taken a dip downwards. On the regular dining room menu, now there is a place for paid items. If you want a lobster tail, or a better cut steak, it costs. If you go to the Tuscan Grill, which costs $45 per person, you can pay more to upgrade your dinner.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 3

Cabin C3

This was our second time in this cabin. It should probably be refurbished, because the carpet was the same one, but dirtier. Our cabin steward was wonderful, and kept things very tidy. There wasn't an upgrade in the amenities for shampoo, etc., and the towels were well worn. My sister was in a balcony room, that wasn't a concierge class room, and they had the same toiletries.
