Sail Date: Apr 2017
Cabin: Deluxe Balcony

The embarkation was simple and well done.

We had an obstructed balcony but since it wasn't really hot we did not spend a lot of time on the balcony. We did sit out there in port. The obstruction was not horrible because the boat only covered part of the balcony.

Loved the fact that we had a couch in the room.

Deluxe Balcony

Cabin DW

Great cabin...the sofa is something I value. The shower is larger than some of the other ships, which is nice.

The obstruction was not a problem because it only comes up part of the balcony...you can see over it.

Port Reviews

Madeira (Funchal)

Private car with 4 people...very reasonable. Toured the western side of the island and made many stops. Beautiful country, good guide. Took us to a great restaurant and had the fish they only catch off this island. It was delicious.

Cartagena (Spain)

Great town to walk. Nice shops to browse in. Town is right where you dock. Went into the Roman amphitheater which was very interesting. Remember to ask for senior discount.

Barcelona

Giro a is a wonderful walkable old town. Had lunch on our own then to the Dali Museum which was fascinating. Great day.

Marseille

Went to the cathedral and town for stops in Marseille then a walking tour of Aix. Lunch on our own. Nice tour. Aix is great to wander around.
