My generous sister booked this 1 yr. ago. She books a cruise for her whole family, every yr. She asked us to go this time.( They live in FLA) Pd. for us! Bucket list trip for sure! As 1st time cruisers, we were highly impressed! My 22 y.o. daughter/I are boaters, my boyfriend is not. He was very impressed as well. Everything from the Embarkation/disembarkation, Happy, friendly staff, impeccable cleanliness, food, cabin staff, "washy-washy guy" , Snorkeling in St. Thomas( The Cat" rocks!) The caf food was great. Tried new foods, great variety of food options. We also had the bevy pkg,(even tho my b/f doesn't drink but NA beer..They had it! )Bartenders REALLY wk hard! ,esp. 80's night/ glow party! No need to bring "extra hooks/plugs..cabin storage was plenty, as usb charges for electronics, Comfy beds, Outstanding cabin service, we had cabin 9898(balcony), AGI..We love you man! Our cabin steward went above/beyond! Room has soap, shampoo, body wash..(love the lemongrass soap), Took a couple days to find things/get acclimated onboard ship. Perfect for the first 2 days to explore! Entertainment was outstanding! Everything from dueling pianos, comic shows, and of course "Brat Pack" show.(had accidently booked this show 2 nights in a row, would have seen again!). My 22 y.o. loved hanging with her cousins at the pool, lots of fun/games there..Great cruise director. As a smoker, we hung out a lot at H2O..B/f smokes cigars, no lack of someone always cleaning, fixing. Tortola! Gorgeous islands! Yes we did the Baths..Yes it was challenging to climb, crawl, explore..BUT I read the reviews and went anyways glad for it! As a heavy -set lady, I loved it! so what it was climbing, a bit crowded! well worth it! Only drawback..-not enough TIME to stay/explore. Ate 1 night at manhatten/family dinner.WOW! table settings, food, staff, atmosphere, Elegance all around! Also had dinner at BAYAMO( pd. restaurant) . Very top notch food, waygu beef, lobster..fantastic! Lastly..NASSAU..NOt worth getting off ship,(unless you book an excursion/Atlantis). I actually went there 30 * yrs ago..nothing changed, dirty, people begging you to buy, very aggressive If your a party animal, maybe you would like it..Just not for me.,,
AGI(AJI?) Cabin steward..Excellent! Cleaning/straightening even when we didn't need it! Very comfy bed(king), plenty of storage for 2 , usb plugs for phones bedside, Room service very timely(portions a bit small, esp french toast), Loved our towel animals! Soap, shower gel, shampoo provided was nice. Balcony nice touch to have coffee in the am. Or just to sit look out at night.
I was here 30 years ago.thought it dirty then..Still is..so sad, dirty, People aggressive , Chaotic, Sure you can bater for items, but too in-your-face. My b/f stepped into a store, I waited outside to smoke, Immediately got approached " hey want something better to smoke? ..I am not a prude, I do like to still party a little(pshh see my bar bill!) But I am old enough now/wise enough to blow them off. Still felt uncomfortable. Would not do Nassau again, only to pick up rum. Greycliff hotel/Cigar bar huge disappointment! My b/f big into cigars(really knows his stuff) . It was a let down to visit. I also heard the " Queens Staircase is in huge disrepair! So sad!
