Fantastic food in the restaurants and in the windjammer, we never usually eat in self service on board but had to as shore days there was no other option but we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and selection, well done chef Andrew and team! Restaurant staff were lovely, we had Armane & Rachel as well as BOgdan & Sharma and they were very helpful, friendly and fun. Special mention to Paul Williams on Starquest disco bar who was an amazing and interesting man. We had a few issues with my daughter being refused drinks as the ship had just sailed from usa and she is 19yrs old but after a few discussions it got sorted! One other issue we had, we ordered a cake for my mothers birthday and a lady approached our table on day one in the restaurant to inform her she had a surprise booked by us and when would she like it!!!! Preferably on her birthday and dont tell her she has a surprise! Disappointed to find no arial team in the centrum once onboard even though this was oe of the reasons for booking this ship, we were told they only now do it on certain class ships not all of them, well it would have been nice to have been informed! We have sailed quite a few times, 3 times this year alone and I have to say we have never been on a ship that has the amount of hard selling onboard, art auctions a few times, raffles to entice you to buy items in shops and nearly all the activities on sea days, sushi making, wine demonstration etc were all at a fee. The ship itself is very dated and really needs modernising but is very clean throughout. We did have fun playing mini golf but didn't attempt the climbing wall and this only seemed to open at selected times few and far between. Overall we made the most of our holiday but would not travel on this ship again, the staff were lovely but the management of Royal Caribbean have a few issues they should address.

An average experience overall

Cabin Review

Cabin 9613
Great cabin if a little dated, like the whole ship. Our cabin crew was a lovely man named alexander. He was one of the best cabin crew we have had on many sailings
