Queen Elizabeth Cruise Review by KeithM52
- Sail Date: May 2017
- Destination: British Isles & Western Europe
- Cabin Type: Balcony
From embarkation to disembarking we enjoyed the elegant and opulent surroundings and experienced the world renown service.
the staff were friendly, efficient and extremely professional.
The cabin was as described and provided for an extremely comfortable stay on board.
We ate in the Britannia Restaurant which was exactly as we expected and beyond.
Food and service was first class with a wide variety of choice. The wine selection is extensive and the Pinot and Cote Le Rhone were a good choice.
The public areas are spotless and always offered a place to relax usually listening to live music.
We made our own way in to Hamburg and had an interesting day confirming that the cost of the on board excursions were a little over priced.
Drinks are priced as you would expect in a 5 star hotel.
It was our first cruise and celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary in a way we will always remember.....truly memorable.
Had all the facilities you would expect and the balcony views were spectacular
