This was my first cruise. My daughter attends the University of Alabama and her last day was 5/5/2017 so I looked for a cruise soon after from Mobile. It worked out perfect a 5-day cruise leaving on 5/6/2017. I picked her up on Friday we stayed at the Hampton Inn downtown in Mobile (I would recommend) and boarded the ship the next day. The cruise director Mikey is fantastic so energetic and entertaining, you'll see glowing reviews as you read through others. The ship is clean, food is great, the crew will go out of their way to insure you are having a good time. The ship is the smallest in the fleet although I had no basis of comparison so it seemed huge. 12 Floors.

We stopped in Costa Maya and Cozumel. We did an excursion at each. Costa Maya we did a beach package that included transportation to a private beach all drinks were free, beautiful beach, lounge chairs, great place to swim relax and enjoy some cocktails (I believe the package was $39/per person). At Cozumel we did a paddle board and snorkeling package ($79). I would highly recommend this if you are in reasonable physical shape. It was my first time for both and the paddle board was challenging as it was a bit windy but I managed to stand for some extended periods even though a fell many times. The snorkeling was awesome...fish everywhere all around you. Upon completion you are left in a resort area with a beach, freshwater pool, restaurants, etc... I would recommend the excursions as you are otherwise left in an area with a bunch of shops jewelry, liquor, t-shirts, souvenirs, nothing very interesting. This is really a bargain considering all the food and entertainment is free. I would highly recommend.

Cabin Review

Cabin 4D

The cabin is like a small hotel room. I was lucky as I got the last room since I booked late. I was on the lowest level in an interior room. A couple of small beds, bathroom, TV, desk area, closet, safe, the basics. I was in the lowest floor for guest cabins. getting an elevator was never a long wait, and I ofter took the stairs.
