Sail Date: Dec 2016
Cabin: Ocean View
Traveled with children

We chose this sailing because the port is only a 3-hour drive from our home and because it was relatively inexpensive. My wife and I went with all six of our children, my sister's family, my parents, and a couple who are friends of my parents.

The embarkation process in Mobile wasn't as smooth as I had hoped. After checking in, we had to cool our heels in a waiting area a while before they started allowing people on board. Disembarkation at the end of the cruise went a bit more smoothly.

Our oceanview cabin slept five. Of course it was crowded with that many in there, but it worked fine for us. The cabin steward was great, and we were able to order a birthday cake and balloons to be delivered to the cabin for my wife's birthday during the cruise.

Cabin 6B

Our cabin slept five. Obviously crowded, but clean and comfortable. We had balloons and a cake delivered for my wife's birthday.

Port Reviews

Mobile

We stayed at a Holiday Inn that offered a port shuttle and parking while we were on the cruise.

Progreso

Amazing ruins. So picturesque and mysterious. Weather was very hot.
