My group of three chose this cruise due to the length of the cruise and the ports of call. We responded to an ad online from an agent out of Las Vegas, NV. We had all sailed on Norwegian previously however it had been over 15 years for each of us. I would point out the age of our party was 70, 70 and 80. We made clear with the agent we would need three twin beds and decided on an oceanview cabin. We were assured we would have two twin beds and a couch which would convert to a third bed. Upon arrival on the Dawn, we were surprised to open our cabin to find two beds and a bunk bed. We were then told they could put the third bed between the other two beds. This created three twin beds wall to wall with no walking space at all between the beds. One had to crawl onto the bed from the foot of the bed. Needless to say, the first time one of the passengers attempted to get on the bed it collapsed to the floor. I pursued the matter with housekeeping and the customer service department and was told there was nothing they could do. Norwegian made NO attempt to offer any resolution to our problem.
I realize the issued arose due to the handling and promise by the agent. However, the travel agent of Norwegian acts on behalf of Norwegian and ultimately Norwegian is responsible and liable for the actions of their agent.
The cabin itself was tiny. There was no room for three adults to co-exist for a week much less 12 days - many of which were spent at sea. The bathroom was EVEN smaller!
