This was first time we tried the large cruise. Initially, we were very impressed with everything being new and nice. Our room was very nice as well, but I notices many staff were not happy. We requested the early dining one year ago when we book the cruise, but we didn't get it. The deck 5 my time dining was like a factory to say it mildly. We finally got the early dining in the mid week after speak to "Food and Beverage director" and the head waiter on the second night. I was told that you need to request two or three years in advance to get the early dining.

The biggest blow was at the theatre. In the main theatre, RCI decided to reserve first five rows of orchestra seats for "STAR CLASS". Even though they told me that those seats were supposed to be released 10min before the show begins, only 10 seats were taken by "start class" folks and others remained empty when the show began. When I complained to "GENIE", the personal assistant for "star class", he laughed at me as if I don't what I am talking about. I made the reservation, and got there 30min prior to get good seats. I was told that it was first come first served, but NOT SO! We did ended up with 4th row on the side of center orchestra section. However, I was so disgusted and angry, I left show. As I walked out of the theatre, I saw many people standing in the back of the theatre. Is this "NORMAL"? I tried to speak to the person in charge of the theatre who were standing on the back of the theatre(he said that he was in charge that night). He didn't care that those first five rows were still reserved waiting for "star class" folks to show up -- and he simply didn't care.

I am five points away from being DIAMOND member. I have decided that I didn't want to give hard earned money to folks who only cared about "star class" STAR CLASS is those folks staying on GRAND SUITE or above. As far as I know, I did pay for the full access to public space such as theatre, dining rooms, etc... I was not told that first five rows of orchestra was "keep out" zone for NON STAR CLASS people. As I was watching the advertisement of "STAR CLASS" on RCI TV channel, I felt like I needed to throw up!

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D8

It was large with lots of closet space. We like the bed near the balcony. Bathroom shower was larger.

We did do the Blue Lagoon Snorkling tour on Enchantment of the Sea, and it was very good.
