We chose this cruise because it went to Havana, Cuba. The ship is the smallest in the fleet, but still had plenty to do: lots of trivia, dance lessons, etc. However the lecturer on Cuba, which everyone was very interested in, was terrible. Boring, boring, boring. The activities staff were great, very enthusiastic, but some had accents requiring more attention than some of the older passengers wanted to give. The first night comedian was also not very good. The rest of the entertainment was very typically talented Royal Caribbean. Kudos especially to the dancers, who sometimes had to cope with heavy seas.

Embarkation was smooth as silk, everyone very friendly, and getting to ditch our carry- ons in our ready cabin was great. We disembarked via self assist and were out of the terminal by 8:30. If you do this, be at the theater as early as possible, as many have figured out this is the way to go.

Food was a bit disappointing, at least in the main dining room. Service was excellent, and the room itself is lovely. The Windjammer had so many choices, altho I think it might be hard to accommodate vegans or gluten sensitive here. They were very good in the mdr. The upcharge for room service is not a good idea, especially for the quality of the food.

Cabin Review

Cabin don't know

Small, small, small, the photos are misleading. Very clean and our cabin steward was wonderful. The tv reverts back to the RC channel, not where you left it, and there was functioning channel guide. Scrolling through every time you turn it on is a pain in this techno age.

Port Reviews

Havana

We were in a very comfortable bus, the guide was great, and we had time to shop. Would love to see more of Cuba on a longer tour. Very interesting and I hope they can restore some of there gorgeous architecture.
