This was a quasi business trip so we had a slightly different experience than most so I can't say much about the entertainment other than I think it was geared toward the senior crowd and this is coming from someone in their mid 50's, but the food? Holy weight gain, was the food glorious! I did notice that in the bars, if you told the bartender to choose your drink, it was always a frozen strawberry daiquiri.

The room was pleasing from the moment I walked in- the balcony spoiled me. The only negative was the mini fridge did not keep anything cold but we really didn't use it anyway. There was more storage than the two of us could use.

My room steward Renz was fantastic. He noticed all the little things that we liked or disliked and adjusted accordingly without us saying a word. I realized near the end of the trip that he was ill and yet the service never dipped. My daughter had to fly home due to a sick child back in the states and he not only asked about the child but knew which child which is very attentive indeed.

Absolutely perfect.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

wasn't the nightmare I expected. I've had longer lines at Disney

Falmouth

Went just outside the port where I was inundated with people trying to get me into their stalls. Although it was disconcerting, there were police officers everywhere and I did not feel truly unsafe.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Again we rented our own vehicle which was nerve wracking but we visited many of the places that excursions charge fees for at no cost beyond the cost of gas.

Cozumel

Rented a jeep on our own and went geocaching on the less touristy side of the island. It was wild and beautiful yet still had some stores and restaurants. We had french fries and shrimp tacos literally 20 feet from the ocean on the sand with no people around us at all.
