We are a couple in our early thirties, who vacation as much as possible. I travel for business 75+ nights per year, so I have grown use to the ups and downs of the travel industry (i.e. I don't expect much).

Last year we took our first ever cruise on the Carnival Fascination. We had a blast and thought "we are now cruise people". However after getting off the Sensation this past Thursday, we look forward to our next vacation on land, and need a break from cruising.

Pre-Cruise stay - We stayed 2 nights at the Radisson. Love that place. We had a great time sitting by pool all day and talking to the bartenders/locals into the early hours of the morning. The rooms are in need of an update, but the price is right and includes parking/shuttle to port in all rates (see fine print). The first night we had a great dinner down at the Port overlooking the cruise ships.

Great Balcony! Not typical Carnival Balcony room - this is a room previously an OV and added a balcony earlier this year. Good cabinets/storage. Had plenty of room for everything. Middle of teh ship room really make difference when ship was rocky.
