We picked this cruise being half of the group live near Tampa, Florida. Plus half of us have cruised with NCL. First picked the month we wanted to cruise, then how long, from what port & what ports the cruise was stopping at. Embarkation is always seams to be very confusing but once on you forget how bad it was. First thing on board we all went to the main dinning room to relax and enjoy visiting and talking about our week ahead. Most people go to the buffet so the dinning room is a great way to get away from the crowds. There is plenty if time to eat at the buffet during the week.
I had volunteered to plan the Cruise Critic Meet & Mingle plus the cabin crawl. What a great experience. I took a lot of time being I had made Invitations for everyone one our Roll Call and a printed list of the rooms on the cabin crawl. I enjoy doing it and would do it again. One of our other members planned the Slot Pull which was a really fun event.
Near the rear elevators good location to get to the buffet, gift shop and O'Sheehan's Pub. Bigger then most balconey room being it's handcap excessable.
Just did a little shopping & exploring on our own.
Did some more shopping and exploring on our own.
Just found a van to take four of use around the area and the drop two of us off at the beach. He then drove the other two back to the cruise ship & came back and waited for us. After getting back to the port we went to a smoke shop to buy some cigars for a friend back home. Nice day.
Nice new NCL private port, just very limited to do any exploring on your own. Really didn't get to see the real Belize. Very disappointing feels like your a captive tourist.
