We chose the Auckland to Bali leg of the Insignia`s world cruise and were very happy with itinerary, Milford sound being a particular delight. The ship`s staff were universally helpful and friendly, the food just about the best of our 20 or so cruises, and the wine package reasonable. Having cruised on the larger Riviera we prefer the latter not least for the more roomy public areas and theatre, the latter on the Insignia suffeing from a petty flat floor and therefore restricted vews. This would have been a 5 star rating if it hadn`t been for three issues :

- our package included free wifi - fortunate as this was very limited although one passenger did confirm it was better at 2.00 am in the morning. We were also restricted to only one device at a time meaning constantly switching between my wife and me

- it was good to have a shuttle bus service in most ports where necessary, problem was that Oceania chose the low cost povider meaning erratic service with one wait of an hour for a 30 minute service. It was noticeable that the Princess line ship in two ports had a more regular timetable and better buses - and for a lower cost line come to that

Cabin Review

Concierge Level Veranda Stateroom

Cabin A3

Cabin somewhat small but well fitted. Our stewards were Robielyn and Agust, both a terrific advert for Oceania, always a smile and cheery greeting. Our thanks to you both.
