Everyone we spoke to onboard selected this cruise because of Havana. So everything else was a bonus.

Yes, Empress is small, but it has been beautifully refurbished. Public areas are modern and elegant. Our inside stateroom was indeed tiny - no complaints, though. Plenty of space for all our clothing and items. I bring 2 complete changes of clothes for each day, 9 pairs of shoes, several purses, etc. Our bed was one and against one of the walls. Our stateroom neighbors had their beds separated and that made it easier to get in and out.

Every crew member we encountered was friendly, courteous and ready to make this cruise a happy one.

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside

Smaller than any other inside stateroom we have had. But, room for all we brought. The bathroom is tiny (just enough space on the floor for the bathmat!). If you are a large person, the shower will be tight.

Port Reviews

Tampa

This was our first time cruising out of Tampa. We arrived at the airport the day before and stayed at a hotel on RiverWalk. We will go back, for sure! The terminal is close to Riverwalk, making it easy to get their on SailAway Day.
