Let me preface this with the fact that we have cruised on many boats and have lived in central America as well as France.

My wife and I were overall very happy with this cruise. The boats décor is sub-par and confusing. Layout is OK, Serenity deck is quite large with 2 hot tubs. Everyone that gave us service were GREAT ,so that made up for the weird décor. And contrary to many reviews, we thought that the food was great. I had one app that was cold but everything else had been wonderful. And we are cooks. We did buy the 3 bottle wine package on day 1 ($67) which was worth it if you like wine at dinner. The standard balcony room seemed larger than we remember. If you are on the port side near the rear on deck 6 you will hear club music in your room.

Cozumel was fine. Walked to money bar (yes you can walk there but its a long one). Good service and ceviche. Snorkeling was good right in front.

Progreso

Progresso made us feel like home. If you are not used to real central america close your eyes and just go to the beach. You will eventually find white sand. You WILL get offered many goods but we never experienced aggressive behavior (“No Gracias” goes a long way). It helps to speak a little Esp if you go off the beaten path here. Scored a $3 bottle of rum.
