We choose this cruise as a last minute cruise (within 40 days) because we are cruise fanatics and in need of a cruise since our last one (December 2016). We were Diamond members and now will be Diamond Plus. We have always enjoyed the service and was beginning to wonder what more was there to making a distinction of the various levels of status. Well now, Royal Caribbean has finally made that distinction with regard to the various Royal Classes (Star, Sky & Sea). I mentioned in my review that this was a game changer! The Costal Kitchen makes the former Viking Crown Lounge a more useful venue than previously used. The access provided to card members of suites into the venues is also a welcome addition to include all shows and the sun deck on the 18th deck. The fact that the lounge is now open almost 24 hours makes a little more sense instead of between the hours of 4:30-8:30 PM regarding drinks for your Diamond or Suite guest. Debarkation was also a highlight that in all our years of cruising RC, we never experienced. We loved the fact that a full breakfast menu was offered in the Coastal Kitchen as well as escorted service to customs and baggage taken right to the airport to be picked up at your destination airport! This was also huge for us! We loved it! Of all our cruises, this ranks pretty high on our list as the best!

Cabin Review

Crown Loft Suite
Cabin L1 1738
We've had the Crown Loft Suite before and enjoy it when its the 3 of us. We're more of a traditional room (suite) couple when its just the two of us. But the loft is definitely a change from the norm and was very convenient when it came to walking to the dining room of the Coastal Kitchen located right there on the same floor as our room! It doesn't get any better than that!
