my husband recently had triple by-pass surgery and valve replacement. he is a workhorse and needed to have downtime. some friends were goin on this cruise and I got info from them. I was not thrilled w/spending 2 days out of ny to Bermuda & 2 days back. to me that's a waste of time that I could have had in bermuda. but let me tell ya, it was great. we got on board w/some difficulty but that's another story. met up w/our friends and had lunch. then we went to our cabin and unpacked. we had a balcony and it was really nice just to sit outside in the fresh air and watch ellis island, the statue of liberty and the verranzano bridge go by.

everything was food, food and more food. there is open dining which means you do not have an assigned time to eat. you go when you want to. good part was you went when you were hungry. bad part you probably had to wait for seating. but not very long. the shows were just great. Ervin & Emily were a singing act and they were fabulous. dan the cruise director sang a time to say goodbye. as good as bocelli. other shows were very entertaining. the staff was very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate. one lovely waitress wanted to take a ride on my scooter but said she would get into trouble. I told her she needed to get my scooter for me because I could not walk to get it. and gave her the keys. oh was she trilled. I made her day. and that made me happy. no problems w/embarkment. wonderful system.they need some benches outside of the terminal for passengers to sit while awaiting their limos. very nice shore excursions including 5 hrs. around would Bermuda. certainly recommend this line and cruise to anyone.

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BB

cabin was small. wont lie. you put your room key into a slot to turn lights on. however, if you need to charge a medical scooter you need to have your key in the slot to charge the machine. which one night didn't work well because I want to go someplace different than my husband and we needed 2 keys.
