We chose this cruise as we have friends visiting from the UK that have never sailed on Royal Caribbean. Since we live in Orlando, it seemed like a nice idea to go on the Oasis of the Seas as it now departs from Port Canaveral.

The key element that made this cruise unusual is that there was a HUGE group on the trip that dominated the entire ship. LuLaRoe is a clothing company and one of their reps proudly told us there were over 1800 reps plus spouses and some children. Consequently, they had private events that closed venues for the rest of us. When their meetings or activities adjourned, Windjammer was over run!!! Other cruises that I have experienced, the guests seemed to be more spread out around the ship. They were given priority, such as a special line with their logo on it for My Time Dining. One evening, we were enjoying a drink in Central Park and all of a sudden, it was turned into a private event venue for them. We even had trouble getting out of there.

My advice would be to check if large groups are booked on the cruise you are considering. If it is a large number compared to the overall passenger capacity, RUN!!!
