I chose this cruise because it was my 50th Birthday. My wife had preordered champagne, strawberries and a cake. Only the starwberries arrived and not when requested. We had sailed Liberty of the Seas and Allure of the Seas prior and we were treated like royalty. This ship is only a year old and you can definitely tell by the service. With the exception of a few people none of the staff was very friendly; the majority seemed very unhappy to be there. Service was very inconsistent and unorganized. It seemed like they did not have enough staff to service the people onboard. Public bathrooms were not cleaned often enough. I would not consider this ship or recommend it for any future sailings. If this was your first cruise you would most likely enjoy it as you have nothing to compare it to. We spoke to numerous people who had sailed with RC before and everyone had the same complaints: rude staff and not enough staff. Royal Carribean was our cruisline of choice but after this sailing we are considering exploring other cruiselines.
