The Empress of the Seas was not prepared for this sailing A/C in operative in both dining area and casino. Maintenance was working on the A/C during the at seas days. It seemed the dining staff over loaded the tables with guests. Not al all comfortable for a relaxing dining experience.

The experience in Cuba on the walking tour gave us a greater insight into the friendly people of the island. Going into the local markets and pharmacy the people use was an interesting step back in the history and culture. Our guide, a university teacher was a tour guide so that he could make a greater amount of money . This walking tour was not a difficult tour for seniors lasting over the four hours. Our tour also included lunch, which was excellent, food and service surpassed our expectations. Walking put you with the people, taking a motor coach is perhaps more comfortable,
