We chose this cruise based on the ports of call. The "ABC" islands - Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao were new to us. We took tours of the islands by open-air jeeps, open-air bus, and ATV's. They were all a great way to get a feel of the islands. We particularly enjoyed the Aruba tour, getting to see flamingos and the salt flats. Swimming with the dolphins on Anguilla (St. Maarten) was a lifelong dream. Due to the age of the ship, there were structural issues with our stateroom (leaks) leaving wet carpet and a musty odor. Our stateroom attendant and main dining staff were exceptional! As on all of our previous cruises, the food was excellent and we ate 'way more than we should have, but the food just kept arriving at our table! The Port Shopping Guides, Chris and Courtney were extremely helpful with their talks and information regarding how to get the best deals.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Ship is old and refurbishing was postponed due to hurricane. The carpet between the bathroom and closet was wet (squishy, not damp) and had a horrible, musty, wet odor. The shower leaked significantly, flooding the bathroom floor each time we used it unless we kept the shower head facing the rear of the shower. There was also a leak in the supply line to the sink. Later in the week, the entire hallway had wet carpet and the musty, wet odor.

Port Reviews

Aruba

Open-air, multi-person jeeps. Enjoyed the guide and the information about the island.
