Oceania is a good cruise line, and the Marina is a lovely ship. There are only 1250 passengers, so people who are wary of the 5000 -passenger vessels would be wise to consiser this company. It is never crowded, even in the Terrace Cafe (buffet). Oceania prides itself on its food, and in my opinion, does not disappoint. Many cruise companies have menus designed by famous chefs. Oceania has Jacques Pepin, and that tells the whole story, Oceania does not charge extra for its 4 specialty restaurants, and there are 4 on Marina. However, do the math, as we may be paying more upfront - so if food is not important, a passenger might be wise to choose a less expensive cruise comoany. That said, I have enjoyed all 4 specialty restaurants: French, Asian,Italian, and a steak house. In the end, however, it waa the itinerary that lured me to book this cruise:31 days that included 4 Caribbean islands, Cape Verde, Dakar, 3 Canary Islands, Madeira and Lisbon, 5 ports in Spain, Marseille, Monte Carlo, Portofino, Livorno , and ending outside Rome.

A very pretty ship

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom
Cabin G 8086
I am happy with the inside cabin.
It has everything I need....lots of storage, a desk and chair, and extra chair and coffee table.
The bsthroom has good storage,too.
Warning: the shower might be a bit small for a large person, but am not sure if the veranda cabins are any different.
Deck 8 Inside Cabins, Balcony Cabins, Suite Cabins
