I went on this cruise with my husband, sister, brother-in-law. I had a great time. Embarkation was great because my sister had a suite and they let us embark with them instead of waiting in the cattle call...definitely a bonus! Our room Steward, Goodeye (pronounced Good Day), was the sweetest thing. He did a great job keeping our tiny room clean and his towel animals were the best. I was disappointed in the room because we got a room with the bed in the wall instead of the couch, but we made it work and I was literally only in there to sleep. Our dinner at Cagney's was awesome as was our dinner at Teppyanaki's. The food at O'Sheehan's was fair at best, so we didn't go there often. The steak at La Cucina's was awesome. We did love the pot stickers and spring rolls at Bamboo...will definitely go there again on the October 2018 cruise we are planning. I wasn't overly impressed with the cruise director staff this trip. I thought Gio was rather boring...definitely have had better experiences on other cruises, although Troy was a sweetheart. We had good experiences with the staff in the Aqua. Most of the servers at the pool were great. The bar service in the casino was horrible...you would think they would keep the drinks flowing to keep you gambling, but that definitely was not the case. The shows were okay. The variety show was boring. The hypnotist should stick to hypnotism and step away from singing..it was painful and we ended up leaving. There didn't seem to be as many activities on sea days as there have been in the past. There were some days when we found we didn't have anything that we wanted to do and that's not like us. Overall, it my traveling companions that made this a great cruise. Not to mention we met some awesome people that we will keep in touch with. Most of the ports were good. If I'm ever on a cruise where Columbia is part of the itinerary, I will probably stay on the ship. It was horrible! I'm sure it's beautiful, but I was so aggravated by the beggars, it made it miserable.

Cabin OA

The room was okay. Didn't realize it was a room with the bed in the wall. We prefer the room with the couch to use to hold our luggage. It served its purpose as I only went there to sleep.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Snorkeled and went to the beach. It was fine, not one of the better excursions, but still had fun

Roatan

My snorkel gear wasn't working right and there were too many people, so I kept getting kicked, which made snorkeling miserable. However, the time on the catamaran was great and the crew were tons of fun. Definitely would do the Jolly Rogers Catamaran Beach and Snorkeling again.

San Juan

It was okay...disembarkation was a pain the butt because of customs but because I was traveling with my sister who was in a suite, the process was a little less painful than it was for others. We went to the beach and it was great.

Cartagena (Colombia)

Never again! The bus had limited air conditioning, the beggars were awful...I'll stay on the ship if it ever goes to this port again.

New Orleans

Not one of my favorite places but we had to go there to get on the ship lol
